This is a voice activated way to answer the phone.
1. Answer the phone with only the sound of your voice.
2. Use the wireless remote control to dial the telephone numbers you have stored in memory.
The voice activation responds to incoming calls. When the telephone rings, just say "hello" and the phone is answered.
The conversation then takes place over a speakerphone.
Outgoing calls can be made 2 different ways:
Dialing on the keypad.
Auto-scanning up to 20 pre-programmed phone numbers.
People with limited mobility can make a call with auto-scanning, by using the included Remote Switch.
How Auto-Scanning works:
As the memorized numbers are scanned, a light flashes by each position to indicate which number can be activated. For non-visual cues, the telephone also "clicks" as it passes over each available pre-programmed number allowing the user to count the "clicks" to make their call to the appropriate person. To dial the chosen number, the user would press the remote once. The first telephone number can be preprogrammed for operator assisted calling.To end a phone call, either press the "off" button on the keypad or use the Remote Switch.
