Pill dispenser organizer has a locking mechanism and a loud alarm as a way to
stop medication errors.
Store up to four weeks worth of medication, set up to 4 daily alarms,
and let this automated pill reminder help organize you.
How the MedReady medication dispenser works:
The pill tray has 28 compartments that can be filled with medication. Each
compartment is 1" x 0.5" x 0.75" and can hold pills of varying
combinations of sizes, such as:
- 3 large tablets, 2 large capsules and 2 small tablets
- or 8 large capsules
- or 12 medium tablets
As the alarm goes off, the tray advances one compartment, so you can take
the medication in that compartment. If you use one daily alarm, the tray
is good for 28 days,
- or two daily alarms and the tray can hold two weeks worth of medication.
- or three daily alarms and the tray can hold 9 days of medications.
- or four daily alarms and the tray can hold one week's worth of medication.
- If you miss a medication time, the tray will advance at the next scheduled
alarm. This will prevent double dosing.
Additional features:
- The pill dispenser alarms set like an alarm clock.
- The only way to turn the alarm off is to open the door to the medication
compartment.
- Length of the alarm: The standard alarm rings continuously until the door
is opened, or this alarm can be limited to 30, 45, 60 or 250 minutes.
- Utilizes AC power. In the event of a power outage, or short-term travel,
it switches automatically to battery backup. When fully charged the batteries
will last up to 72 hours. Rechargeable batteries included.
- MedReady is tamper-proof, instead of
having a latch, the system uses a real lock and key.
- MedReady measures 11 inches in diameter.
- 1 year manufacturer's warranty
The MedReady is also available with an additional feature; a red indicator
light that will flash when the alarm goes off.
MedReady with Flashing Light is helpful to anyone who is hearing impaired.
